Analyses and Studies Department
Requires the Department of Public Health to periodically analyze and study health care costs and to solicit information from health care facilities regarding their financial needs. Identifies four objectives for these studies (e.g., whether rates and costs are reasonably related to offered services, whether rates are reasonable, etc.). Classifies data and reports related to these studies as public record except for portions that contain privileged medical information.
