“Administration of Medi-Cal Electronic Health Records Incentive Program; requirements of State Medicaid Health Information Technology Plan”
California's Electronic Health Records (“EHR”) Incentive Program is administered by the Medicaid State Health Information Technology Plan, and must address the following:
- Identify policies to implement the EHR program;
- Specify enrollment and data collection criteria;
- Coordinate outreach with regional extension centers;
- Participate in a national level registry.
