Reports required of facility or physician performing abortions -- Contents -- Name of mother omitted -- Promulgation of rules.
Establishes reporting requirements for physicians and facilities that perform abortions. Specifies the information that providers must report (e.g., number of performed abortion procedures, fetus pathology, maternal deaths related to an abortion, etc.). Prohibits providers from including the name of a person receiving an abortion in their reports. Authorizes the Department to establish rules for reporting procedures that facilitate the Department’s ability to report to abortion statistics to the federal government.
