“Mental health care services review under the banking and insurance law”
Review agents may perform service review activities of any adverse determinations regarding mental healthcare services by health insurers. This may occur 10 days after request from a patient that must be made available at no cost. Individual’s mental health records must be kept confidential during the service review.
