24 Del. Code Regs. § 2500-5.0 - Dispensing

Pharmacies must maintain a patient profile system to retrieve information on patients and prescriptions dispensed. A patient profile record must be maintained for 1 year from the last entry in the profile record.  Records of dispensing for original and refill prescriptions are to be made and kept by pharmacies for three years. Information must be immediately accessible for a period of not less than one year from the date of last entry. Information beyond one year but up to three years from the date of last entry may be maintained off‑line but must be produced no later than five days upon request from proper authorities.
