105. Mass. Code Regs. 300.150. - Declaring a Disease or Condition Immediately Reportable, Under Surveillance and/or Subject to Isolation and Quarantine: Temporary Reporting, Surveillance and/or Isolation and Quarantine

In order to reduce the morbidity and mortality, the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health can require the reporting, authorize surveillance, and establish quarantine or isolation requirements, on a time limited basis for diseases that are newly recognized or recently identified as public health concerns.  There is a 12 month time limit on all such activities.
