“Standard - Reporting of Infectious Diseases”
Clinical laboratories are responsible for reporting to the Department any result on a specimen that yields significant evidenceof those infectious diseases identified by the Department in conjunction with the Advisory Committee on Clinical Labs. Clinical laboratories making such reports shall not be held liable for having violated a trust or confidential relationship. The reports should are confidential and not a public record.
