All hospitals that provide angioplasties must provide patient specific data to the Data Analysis Center (a center contracted out by the Department of Public Health) and the NCDR Database for each patient who has had an angioplasty as defined by the Department of Public Health. Hospitals that provide angioplasties and the angioplasty data are subject to random audits by the Department. Hospitals must reimburse the Data Analysis Center for their share of the Center’s expense.
