Home nursing care providers and agencies must provide their patients/clients with written notice of the patient/client rights before providing care to the patient/client or during the initial evaluation. A copy of the notice, signed by the patient/client, must be placed in their medical record. Home nursing care providers and agencies must document their compliance with these requirements.
