This law requires that all emergency mental health service programs comply with Wis. Stat. Ann. § 51.61 with respect to patient rights. The law further requires that the program inform their clients that they have the option to use either formal or informal procedures to resolve complaints and disagreements with respect to the program. The law requires that the program establish a process for informal resolution of concerns and a grievance resolution system.
