Computer Access to Data
The Texas Health Care Information Council must provide for computer to computer access to public use data. All reports must maintain patient confidentiality. The Council may charge a person requesting public use data or provider quality data a fee, which may reflect the quantity of information and expenses incurred by the Council. The Council may not charge a fee for providing the data to another state agency.
