“Vermont health benefit exchange under the human services law”
The Vermont health access must establish the Vermont health benefit exchange. The Vermont health benefit exchange may determine an appropriate method to provide a unified, simplified administration system for health insurers offering qualified health benefit plans. The exchange may offer certain services, such as wellness programs and services to health insurers offering outside the exchange, workers’ compensation insurers, employers, and other entities. The Vermont health benefit exchange may enter into information-sharing agreements with federal and state agencies and other state exchanges to carry out its responsibilities.
