“Written plan for consultation, emergency transfer, and transport under the professions and occupations law”
A licensed midwife must complete peer review within 30 days of a birth or sentinel event. The peer review report must be submitted to the Office of Professional regulation within 30 days of its completion. During the peer review process, other health care professionals engaged in the care or treatment of the client may provide written input to the peer review panel related to quality assurance and other matters related to the licensed midwife’s practice.
