“Information related to maternal mortality under the health law”
Health care providers, health care facilities, clinics, laboratories, medical records departments, and state agencies must report all maternal mortality deaths to the maternal mortality review panel and to the Department of Health. The commissioner of health must have access to individually identifiable information relating to the occurrence of maternal deaths only when public health is at risk.
