“Immunization registry under the health law”
A health care provider must report to the Department of Health all data regarding immunizations of adults and children within seven days of immunization. The department may use the data to create a registry of immunizations. The information contained in the registry is confidential and privileged and may be shared only in a manner that does not divulge patient identifying information. Patient identifying information may only be disclosed to the person seeking his or her own records to prove immunization.
