Requires the director or administrator of a mental health facility to review a patient’s medical record 30 days after their voluntary admission in order to assess whether the patient needs to continue treatment within the facility. Requires the director or administer to obtain the patient’s informed consent for further treatment, if such treatment is necessary, and to document this consent in the patient’s medical record.
