Trauma System Evaluation
Requires designated trauma facilities to establish a quality improvement plan that includes specified elements (e.g., clearly stated goals, standards of care, methods for comporting patient outcomes, a peer review process, etc.). Requires facilities to document the trauma care quality assurance program’s proceedings and evaluate the program’s results.
