Tenn. Comp. R. & Regs. 1200-7-3-.06 - Data Availability Via the Tennessee Hospital Association
This will open in a new window
Thirty days after the department of health’s master database has received, processed and verified all hospitals’ claims data, the department will send the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA) a copy of the entire database. The department may create public reports using aggregate data; it may also provide custom reports using such data as requested. A contractual agent of the department or the THA may access reports of records, including patient identifiers, to carry out its contractual duties, including quality control, database management services, or research. Any such agent must agree to establish and maintain appropriate controls to protect the confidentiality of the data.
