Hospital's Duty to Keep Records
All hospitals, their employees, and medical and nursing personnel practicing in the hospital shall prepare, make, and maintain true and accurate hospital records. The records shall be made with reasonable promptness and shall include records pertaining to abortion operations reported to the commissioner of health. The hospital records shall comply with the methods, minimum standards, and contents as set by the board for licensing health care facilities, and an employee of the hospital shall be designated as responsible for supervising, filing, and indexing the medical records.
