Sharing of immunization records permitted unless signed refusal in medical record -- Violation as a misdemeanor.
Requires authorized providers, facilities, and government health agencies to share immunization records unless a patient signs a statement that they refuse to authorize the sharing of this information and this statement is included in the patient’s medical record. Classifies persons that knowingly or intentionally disclose or do not protect confidential immunization data as guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
