Promulgation of rules to protect privacy of medical records
Requires the Director of Insurance to establish rules for protecting the privacy of personally identifiable health information obtained by licensed insurers. Identifies the topics that such rules may address (e.g., the sale and exchange of health information, privacy and security standards, etc.).
