The department of health must include the routine childhood vaccinations in the department’s immunization program that are recommended by “the Advisory Committee for Immunization Practices (ACIP) and the Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)” and the adult influenza vaccinations that are recommended by ACIP.
The childhood immunization program utilizes “KIDSNET, a confidential, computerized child health information system” to manage immunization and health preventive services for children aged 18 and under.
