“Confidentiality of insurer records under the managed care law”
Medical data or information in the possession of a health insurer is confidential and must not be disclosed except as allowed by the law, the express consent of the covered person, pursuant to a court order, or in the event of a claim or litigation between the covered person and the health insurer.
