“Development of a comprehensive health care system under the insurance law”
The insurance department and the department of health and human services must collaborate to develop a comprehensive health care information system. The health care information system must use health data to allow insurers, employers, providers, consumers, and state agencies to review health care utilization, expenditures, and performance.
