“Marketing restrictions and disclosure requirement under the insurance law”
A discount medical plan organization’s advertisements and marketing materials must be truthful and not be misleading. Each discount medical plan organization must provide each new member a written document that contains the terms and conditions of the discount medical plan, including procedures for filing complaints under its complaint system and information that the plan member may contact his local state insurance department.
