“Facility policy and procedures under the hospitals and sanitaria law”
A facility must adopt a policy setting patients’ rights and responsibilities. A written copy of the policy must be posted at a public place in the facility and provided to each staff member who must be trained in the policy. Each patient must be provided a copy of the policy and obtain written confirmation that the patient received the copy and aware of its contents upon admission.
