“Treatment rights; rules under the public health law”
Individuals receiving mental health services have the right to:
- An individual service plan
- Be informed of and to give consent before administration of any treatment
- Refuse all forms of medication, treatment or services, except emergency treatment
- Treatment in the least restrictive environment necessary to achieve the purposes of treatment
