“Disclosure under the insurance law”
Health insurers offering health plans to small employers and individuals must make the following disclosures in sales materials:
- How premium rates will be established;
- The health insurer’s right to change premium rates and the factors that will affect changes in premium rights;
- Provisions relating to be no ability of health coverage;
- Provisions relating to any preexisting condition exclusions; and
- The health plan’s benefits and premiums.
