“Registry under the public safety and welfare law”
The Department of Health and Human Services must establish a state registry to maintain a record of each report of abuse, neglect or exploitation of an individual by a paid or volunteer caregiver, guardian, or agent acting under a power of attorney. The registry is confidential. The department must maintain statistical information to track and addressed trends.
