“Designated receiving facilities under the public safety and welfare law”
If a client needs substance abuse treatment, he may be referred to a designated receiving facility of the Department of Health and Human Services on an inpatient basis. If admitted, the client must be evaluated by a qualified mental health worker and substance abuse counselor for the purpose of recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
