“Reports under the hospitals and sanitaria law”
The Department of Health and Human Services must report its findings and any recommendations for proposed legislation to the state legislature, governor, and the health and human services oversight committee. The report must describe the frequency and causes of medical errors, unexpected adverse outcomes, and near misses and identify strategies for reducing preventable adverse events.
