“Providing controlled drug prescription health and safety information under the Controlled Drug Act”
The controlled drug prescription health and safety program may disclose information only to the following persons:
- By electronic or written request to health care providers and dispensers.
- By written request to a patient who requests his or her own prescription monitoring information.
- By written request to medical licensing boards.
- By written request to authorized law enforcement officials during a criminal investigation or prosecution.
- By written request to a controlled drug prescription health and safety program from another state.
