Retention of Records
Requires dentists to keep patient records for at least six years after their last visit with the patient or, if the patient is a minor, for the longer of six years after their last visit or one year following the patient’s 18th birthday. Clarifies that this requirement applies to all forms of records (e.g., electronic, paper).
