Reports of electroconvulsive treatment
Requires health care providers, facilities, or institutions to report electroconvulsive treatments to the Department of Public Health and Environment on a semiannual basis. Specifies the information that must be reported (e.g., number of patients receiving electroconvulsive treatment during the reporting period, whether the treatment was voluntary or involuntary, complications associated with the treatment, etc.). Classifies the names of patients that receive electroconvulsive therapy as confidential and prohibits disclosure of these names to all persons and entities, including the Department.
