“Programs to raise awareness of hazards of nonsteroidal synthetic estrogens – annual report of director”
The director of health must:
- Establish and maintain a statewide public information campaign on the effects of diethylstilbestrol or other nonsteroidal synthetic estrogrens in order to educate the public on the potential hazards and to encourage people who have been exposed to seek medical attention.
- Maintain a registry of qualified health care providers available as a reference for those exposed.
- Maintain a registry of persons who have been exposed to diethylstilbestrol or other non-steroidal synthetic estrogens, including persons exposed before birth, for the purpose of studying and monitoring conditions caused by such exposure.
- Make an annual report to the general assembly on the effectiveness of the programs established and recommend future programs/legislation.
