“Physician’s report to department on attempted or completed abortions”
A physician who performs or induces, or attempts to perform or induce an abortion must make a report to the department of health within fifteen days after the woman is discharged. If the physician fails to submit the report or submits an incomplete report more than 30 days after the deadline, they must pay a fee and will be directed to submit a complete report by the court after a year. The department of health must annually issue a public report based on this information that provides statistics of all abortion reports from the previous year, and must ensure that no information in such reports could reasonably lead to the identification of any woman upon whom an abortion was performed.
