An insurer, insurance producer or insurance-support organization has 30 days from the receipt of a written request from an individual to correct, amend or delete the portion of the recorded personal information in dispute. The entity that corrected, amended, or deleted the information must produce the correction, amendment or fact of deletion to:
- Each person that was specifically designated by the complaining individual who may have in the past two years received the recorded personal information;
- Each insurance-support organization who receives their primary source of personal information from insurers, if the insurance-support organization has systematically received recorded personal information from the insurer within the preceding seven years; and
- Each insurance-support organization that furnished the recorded personal information that has been corrected amended or deleted.
