A clinical laboratory must report the result of any test, examination or analysis of a submitted specimen submitted to the patient, to the provider who requested the testing, or to anyone else authorized by law. The laboratory must provide the results of any test, examination or specimen analysis to the submitting patient at either the patient or the provider’s request.
