The board of a hospital will establish rules and regulations pertaining to items such as “conduct and maintenance of proper medical records.” All persons within the hospital must adhere to the rules and regulations. Violation of the rules and regulations by a physician or surgeon may result in the board terminating the physician or surgeon’s facility privileges.
