Additional duties of office
The Office of Health and Medical Affairs must, among other duties, (1) collect and publish information that will allow for the informed decision-making by individuals regarding services, financing, and health benefits; (2) identify any priority health issues and coordinate strategies to address such priorities; (3) collect, publish, and utilize information regarding health policy, health planning, health status, and health needs; and (4) develop recommendations to improve the health care infrastructure, such as organization, delivery, and financing.
