Medication therapy management program
Requires the Department of Human Services to create a medication therapy management program for Medicaid enrollees as a means of coordinating care and managing expenditures. Permits the Department to contract with health care professionals to provide program services and entitles professionals to reimbursement for these services. Permits the Department to obtain the North Dakota Pharmacists Association’s assistance in establishing the program. Requires the program to create procedures for documenting and reporting outcomes.
