Counseling patients and caregivers -- Maintenance of patient records
Requires pharmacists to provide counseling to patients or their caregiver when dispensing drugs or devices and to maintain patient records. Identifies circumstances when pharmacists are not required to provide counseling (e.g., when providing inpatient care, when a licensed medical professional administers the drug, etc.).
