Informed consent -- Oral and written
Requires mental health providers to obtain a parent' informed consent orally and in writing in order to provide inpatient services to a minor. Requires providers to include the signed consent form in the minor’s medical records and to give the minor and their parents a copy of the application for treatment and a statement of rights.
