Idaho Admin. Code r. 16.03.09.567, Children’s Habilitation Intervention Services: Quality Assurance

Requires the Department of Health and Welfare to establish performance measures as a means of assessing the effectiveness of children’s habilitation intervention services. Requires the Department to perform additional quality assurance activities such as provider visits and gathering information about participant satisfaction. Requires the Department to conduct quality improvement activities which can include consulting with providers, offering technical assistance, or taking corrective action. Defines corrective action as including the issuance of a corrective action plan, referring the provider to the Medicaid Program Integrity Unit, or taking action against the provider agreement.
