Imposes a Medicaid reimbursement penalty on physicians that do not obtain a timely Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) review for services that the Department has identified as requiring such review. Identifies the penalty amounts (e.g., $50 penalty for a readmission QIO review that is one day late).
