The department of health services must collect health care data regarding health care providers other than hospitals and ambulatory care centers in order to submit health care data reports to the governor and legislature.
The entity performing hospital and ambulatory care center data collection duties pursuant to a contract with the department of health services must also provide the governor and legislature with health care data reports.
