General provisions for standard reports by DHS

This regulation requires that the department of health services prepare a certain list of standard reports, and make them available to the public, both in paper and electronically.  This list of standard reports includes, but is not limited to: hospital rate increase report, guide to Wisconsin hospitals report, consumer guide, etc.  The regulation prohibits health care providers who receive early drafts of these standard reports for comment from releasing these drafts or information from these drafts.  The regulation further states that the data used to compiled these reports is not subject to inspection under open records provisions, but the reports themselves, once complete, are available to the public.
