“Genetic information restrictions under the Prepaid Limited Health Service Organization Act of Florida”
A prepaid limited health service organization must comply with FL Stat. §627.4301, which prohibits health insurers from using genetic information to cancel, limit, or deny coverage or establish premium rates. Health insurers may not require or solicit genetic information, use genetic test results, or consider a person’s decisions relating to genetic testing for any insurance purpose.
