“Records under the Raymond H. Alexander, M.D., Emergency Medical Transportation Services Act”
Emergency medical service organizations must maintain accurate records of emergency calls and these records must be made available for inspection by the Department of Health. Patient identifying information is confidential but statistical data may be disclosed to the public.
An emergency medical service organization must also provide the receiving hospital with a copy of an individual patient care record for each patient who is transported to the hospital.
