“Program integrity under the Children’s Medical Services Act”
The Department of Health must operate a system to oversee the Children’s Medical Services program to prevent fraudulent and abusive behavior, overutilization and duplicative utilization, and neglect of participants. The department must refer any incidents to the appropriate regulatory agency. The department must recover overpayments as appropriate.
